Carphone Warehouse bases ad campaign around Android character

We usually prefer major corporations to pay for advertising space on Eurodroid, but this one is rather cute. It’s an entirely Android-themed advert for the company’s immense range of Android phones, featuring a CG representation of the Android character.

We believe he is supposed to be called “Andy” but that seems a little silly. We’ll keep referring to it as the Android character. The green robot thing.

So this is how CPW has reinvested all the money it made from selling the phones last year. Thanks to Droid-Den for the tip.

  1. OK, now I want that phone. Not the sony-ericsson or whatever, an actual phone-in-a-pocket-sized-robot. A phone that can actually go pick up a can of beer from the fridge, probably puffing in a cute, adorable way on the way back.

    “Over 150,000 apps…” Really?
