Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today unleashed its initial wave of PlayStation games on the Android Market, just in time for the arrival of the Xperia PLAY Android gaming phone. New PLAY owners can get MediEvil, Destruction Derby, Cool Boarders 2, Syphon Filter and Jumping Flash.
The five PS1 titles are up on the Android Market right now, all for a decent impulse-buy price of £3.99. Check out SCEE’s Android Market listing for full details.
Obviously the permissions of these games are such that you’ll only see them on the Market through your phone if using a PlayStation Certified device – which at this moment in time is only the Xperia PLAY.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
