Another one of the BIG BOYS has woken up to the existence of Android, with UK retail giant Sainsbury’s finally bringing something to Android after a long period with only an iOS offering out there.
The Sainsbury’s Android app isn’t a full shopping experience, sadly, only offering a selection of the current deals available in store – plus Nectar card integration so you’re also sent offers relating to its loyalty card scheme if registered and signed in.
Plus there’s a rather useless store finder, as if we have any trouble locating its MASSIVE ORANGE SIGNS. Still, nice to have official recognition. Check it out on the Android Market.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
