Samsung has started the launch of its latest Galaxy S Android update, with the all-new official “Gingerbread” Android 2.3 upgrade now pinging onto certain mobile phones across Europe.
Plenty of users in mainland Europe have received the update notification, although we’re yet to find anyone within the UK who’s been prompted to update. Best check your phone right now if you’ve got a Galaxy S, eh?
As ever, the update will be applied via Samsung’s desktop KIES sync tool rather than over-the-air. Link and image via the XDA forums.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
