Headset Droid is a very, very clever idea. It manages to rewire the functions of Android headphone buttons, so if you’re using a pair of supplied phones that have physical next/previous/play/pause buttons on an inline remote, it’ll be possible to allocate them new functions.
Works with Android 1.6 phones and above.
It’s a paid app costing the equivalent of £0.87 on the Android Market. It’s picked up some very decent reviews so it’s almost certain you’ll get at least 87p worth of use from it.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ April 25, 2011It’s a pity the supplied headset with my HTC DHD (unsure what others are like: review Gary??) is dreadful. (uncomfortable and poor sound)
I use Sennheiser’s and Dr Dre’s with Power Amp Pro.
