Here’s a bit of a weird one. Orange has just added the Motorola DEFY to its line-up of forthcoming phones, with the robust 3.7″ Android phone set to arrive on monthly tariffs at some point in the near future.
There are no prices on the network’s listing as yet. We suspect it might be rather cheap, though, as the DEFY lacks some of the glamour of today’s newest smartphones…
..and is unlikely to find many fans at the higher end of the market due to arriving with Android 2.1 at launch. Still, if you need a waterproof telephone, it’s the best out there. Good to see it getting some network “love”.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ May 17, 2011I’ve been using the defy for at least 2 months and see no problems with it. I just recently received my 2.2 update notification. I dont feel bad for dropping it on the floor either due to its sturdy casing. 5 stars motorola guys.
