Today sees HTC’s brand new flagship Android phone arrive on sale in the UK, with mobile network Vodafone securing a short exclusive of a few weeks on selling the dual-core handset.
Vodafone’s contracts for the phone start at £25 per month with 100 calling minutes, 500MB of data and a £199 upfront fee. If you want a “free” phone you’ll have to pay £35 per month. Money is being printed by all concerned today.
According to the network’s support forums the Sensation is in stock, as scheduled, and is being packaged up to those who placed a pre-order. Do let us know if you get one.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ May 20, 2011As far as i’m concerned this launch has been nothing but a complete farce!
As a new or existing customer you could walk into a VF store yesterday and come out with a brand spanking new HTC Sensation. But if you pre-ordered one online weeks and weeks ago, no one got theirs yesterday! There is only one guy who has got his Sensation over at XDA but even then he walked into a store and got one!
VF made a right shambles of their pre-order customers pissing everyone off.

/ May 25, 2011The same similar thing happened when I pre-ordered the HTC Desire at launch day last year. There wasn’t enough supplies.
My next upgrade is in September so I gonna have bite the bullet and wait to get the sensation :(
