For some odd reason it’s fallen to network Orange to make an official Android app for popular UK festival Glastonbury, with the tool launched today on the Android Market.
You get a schedule of performances laid out like a TV guide so it’s possible to make allowances for overlaps, news and updates, and all presented in a nice visual style. Like this:
We will, as previously reported, be staying at home on the internet. Perhaps we’ll watch one or two performances on the television as long as Fearne Cotton isn’t presenting it.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

Orange are all around the festival. Including massive Orange area/tents (Chill ‘n’ Charge tents) to charge mobiles, have a beer and other mobile crap.
