Marvel Entertainment has launched the game-of-the-film title Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty on Android, offering gamers the chance to give the entertainment giant a little more money ($0.99) as it gears up to release the summer blockbuster movie.
To be honest, the game looks like an abjectly depressing experience in which you run about a blocky, grey 3D world punching and kicking things, punctuated by the momentary excitement of doing a “special move”. Like this:
You require Android 2.1 or higher to run it, plus there’s a list of tested devices up on the game’s listing – which includes the Galaxy S and Huawei 8800 for a start. If nothing else, it is at least broadly compatible.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
