You may have heard of ChannelFlip. It’s a sort of celebrity-based internet entertainment channel, which offers little clips and monologues from some of the UK’s most commonplace famous faces. Its most popular production so far is David Mitchell’s Soapbox , in which the star of 10,000 satirical news quiz shows talks about… subjects. In a satirical manner.
Now you can access the “content” on Android. Here’s how that works:
Each of the programmes on the new ChannelFlip Android application can either be streamed directly to an Android platform or downloaded and stored for later viewing. So far in the series Mitchell has covered topics ranging from Stag Nights and Weddings, Trying to be Unique with Children’s Names, Nudity on Stage and Screen, Defending the Use of LOL, and Telephone/Text/Voicemail Etiquette.
And here’s what the app itself looks like:
You can find Mitchell’s Soapbox on the Android Market here. It doesn’t look like Richard Hammond’s Tech Head series is taking off quite so well.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
