It is Tetris. It is free. It is TETRIS Free and it has been put up on the Android Market by publishing giant Electronic Arts. Tetris has been available on Android for a very long time and is a surprisingly enjoyable conversion, given the reliance on touchscreen controls.
And now it’s free. Here it is. And look, slightly inappropriate dating adverts along the top of the screen to fund the release:
Don’t make the same embarrassing mistake we just did in publicly berating EA on Twitter for region locking the game. There’s a separate release for US and EU Android users. You want the Euro version uploaded by EA Netherlands.
That’s as close to an apology as EA is getting out of us.



INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
