Siine Writer is an alternate Android keyboard, but instead of drawing lines or guessing your words, it lets users build a collection of set phrases and words and attach them to a group of icons that sit beneath the usual keyboard. There’s even a graphic clock, for easily typing in times with the minimum of fuss.
It looks very bonkers indeed.
Siine Writer Pioneer Edition is free, youth-oriented, and available on the Android Market here. Frankly, we prefer typing to be hard to keep the casuals in check.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ September 24, 2011Sorry to be pedantic but as this is Android news from Europe, the writer should be using ‘orientated’ not ‘oriented’. In my opinion American-English shouldn’t be used on this website.

/ September 24, 2011That’s one I have wrestled with internally for many years, but never bothered looking up.
