We know a few things about the forthcoming Eee Pad Transformer update. It was revealed by Asus earlier in the week that it will indeed be a Tegra 3 powered, quad-core device, and now we get our first look at it. Or at least, we get to see one of the Eee Transformer Prime’s corners, revealing a very thin chassis indeed:
We assume it will have another three corners, making a rectangle.
The official Asus teaser site boasts that the Transformer Prime update will be “faster, stronger, slimmer, and of course, sexier” than the excellent original Android Eee Pad. All good. Apart from the rather childish name. We don’t all watch rubbish films and cartoons about robots, Asus.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

You may very well have dropped a point on my “cool chart”

/ October 22, 2011That weirdshit comment about the name being childish says more about the blogger being an out of touch miserable nerd than it does about Asus’ overtly tongue-in-cheek name choice. The guy who wrote that most definitely got his lunch money beaten out of him daily at school – and rightly so :)

And it’s OK to not like popular things.

/ October 22, 2011i really wish you wouldn’t throw in your personal bias into everything
so you dont like transformers? so what…
i like this site because i get EU/UK specific android news but the annoying personal flavor is putting me off

/ October 23, 2011Its a blog, they’re meant to have personal opinion in them. I’d rather have tongue in cheek comments like that than a simple reposted press release followed by “that certainly sounds exciting, we’ll see what its like when its out” or other such brainrot.

/ October 23, 2011Yes. Thanks. I also need to have the occasional laugh, else I’d have gone insane and given up years ago :(
