Mobile apps portal GetJar has added a massive number of free Android apps to its database of late, pulling in the “top 50,000″ free apps from the Android Market and displaying them alongside its usual catalogue.
It’s lifted the screen shots, icons and descriptions from the Android Market, but the apps themselves remain on Google’s servers – GetJar users opting to install them will be sent down the usual Android installation channels.
