ChannelFlip, which already has that David Mitchell’s Soapbox app, has launched another one, this time letting us stream its Escape and Control mini series to Android. The app lets you stream his short shows, with an offline saving option for caching them up for use when you’re worryingly off-network.
E&C is presented and researched by Jon Ronson, who is one of the more entertaining investigative reporters and authors out there. The clips are about various internet things. They’re quite enjoyable.
And Ronson has a very calming voice. The Escape and Control app is on the Android Market here. There still doesn’t appear to be an app for that thing Richard Hammond does.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
