We do love a good specialist publication. One of the more special interest magazines out there on the Android Market is Airports of the World Magazine, which you can buy through your Android device for £2.50.
In fact, this is one of many, many magazines made available on Android through Tri Active Media, which re-publishes mobile versions of the likes of Loaded, WWE Magazine, Slimming World and [serious journalist expression] Attitude through the Android Market.
We thought it’d be better to use an image of Loaded than Airports of the World. Each app comes with one issue for a reduced price, then further titles are bought with a Pocket Mags account. They’re basically glorified PDF readers, but still.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ November 23, 2011Haha, nice to see the apps I create at work on my favourite Android blog!
Yes we have some very niche magazines out there and the selection is constantly growing. We also have a single newsstand app with over 300 different magazines called ‘Pocketmags Magazine Newsstand’.
You’ll also find quite a few magazines have a load of extra features / media such as videos that you can download or stream, image galleries and page jumps / hyperlinks throughout each issue. It’s up to each magazine publishing how much or how little features they want to add.
