PhatPad’s been out on iPad for a few months now, giving Apple users a single note app that lets them share projects via drawing, handwriting recognition and image capture. There’s now an Android beta release of the app, which has all of that. For us.
Here’s what it looks like on an Android tablet:
The PhatPad beta can be downloaded directly as an APK file from the maker’s site here. The Apple version is a paid release, so we’d expect them to start charging for this once it’s out of beta. Or plaster it in ads.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ November 24, 2011What’s ‘collaborative’ about it? I assumed that meant two people using separate phones / tablets working on the same document – but doesn’t seem to offer that.
Looks a fairly good effort other than that although obviously still beta and UI not that intuitive.
