Motorola’s managing to keep Motorola RAZR owners happy, at least, with the company launching a general software update for all versions of the Android phone bought across Europe. There isn’t a huge number of new features, but there is at least the promise of “general improvements” to the camera app, a new motion rule within Motorola’s excellent Smart Actions feature, plus a few other tweaks.
And Evernote’s now pre-loaded, which is a strange thing to do on a phone that’s already out there. Here are the highlights of Motorola’s changelog of what’s new in this 651.73.30 software update:
New Evernote application – Save your ideas, things you like, things you hear, and things you see.
Camera – General improvements to camera performance
New Smart Rule Trigger – ‘Motion Detection’
Security features – Added new security features in the Google™ Android™ release
Phone stability – Improvements on call performance and Bluetooth® connectivity
Localisation improvements
Wi-Fi performance and stability General improvements to Wi-Fi connectivity
We do miss the old beast. Had a lot of fun playing with it. Looks like Motorola’s finally come up with a good internal system for pushing out updates rapidly, too.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
